Multi 8255/8254 PCI I/O Cards

The multiple 8255 I/O card is a programmable peripheral interface for PC computers. The interface card provides up to 192 parallel input / output programmable lines, and six independent 16 bit counters.

The card plugs into a standard PCI slot and has four 50pin ribbon connectors, each one containing the signals for two 8255's, plus one 34 pin for the pair of 8254 counter timers. The card is supplied with a 50pin ribbon connectors to 50pin 'D' connector for each pair of 8255's, and a 34pin ribbon connectors to 37pin 'D' connector for the 8254 signals. Each 'D' connector is mounted on a standard expansion slot 'L' bracket.

There are four cards in this range with a selection of 2 x 8255 up to a massive 8 x 8255. All cards are fitted with 2 x 8254.
