RS232/RS422 to Fibre Optic Converter

The RS232 / Fibre optic converter provides an easy method of conversion between standard RS232 signals and a fibre optic link. This conversion is useful to extend the usually short range of RS232 signals to enable communication over much extended distances using the fibre optic cabling. The extented transmission distance for fibre optic signals can be up to 1500m.

There are 3 LED indicators that correspond to RxD, CTS, and power signals. A 9V, 500mA-power adapter is provided in the package. When ordering the fibre optic converter, please select either the RS232 or the RS422 version, and either the DTE or DCE version.
